Building systems where there were none.
I find the way.I build what isn't there.
Currently in Phoenix, Arizona as a Computer Engineer working ESS System QA at an outsourced LG Energy Solution site — no in-house tooling. Instead of waiting, I shipped six internal platforms my coworkers now use every day.
Software Engineering
Full-stack platforms used in production by real teams.
Embedded Software
C / RISC-V / SystemVerilog. From kernel paging to FPGAs.
Design Verification
Built an RV32IM out-of-order processor — fell for DV along the way.
A track record of
building beyond the role.

ESS System QA Engineer
·LG Energy SolutionCurrentPhoenix, AZ · On-site at partner facilityOwning quality for ESS systems while building the digital infrastructure the partner site never had.
- Identified gaps in traceability, defect tracking, and shipping review workflows — then shipped 6 internal web platforms now used daily by the System QA team.
- Replaced spreadsheet-driven QA processes with real-time dashboards, barcode-driven assembly tracing, and policy-aware shipping approvals.
- Translated bilingual technical communication, defect taxonomies, and procedures into a centralized internal wiki adopted across shifts.
- Bridged Computer Engineering and Quality: turning every recurring manual task into a measured, auditable, automated system.

Built at LG Energy Solution.
Used every day.
Six internal platforms I built solo for my System QA team — covering traceability, defect analytics, shipping approvals, calculators, the team wiki, and real-time translation.
Assembly Tracker
Search and trace assembly history by any part ID — Link, Pack, BPU, Rack, RBMS, or Enclosure. Filter by date and customer site.
— Cut traceability lookup time from minutes of spreadsheet hunting to a single barcode scan.
Defect Monitoring System
Monitor and track defects in real-time. Analyze trends and assign daily tasks for quality improvement.
— Turned static defect logs into a live dashboard that drives daily standups.
Shipping Request Reviewer
Review and approve outgoing shipment requests. Verify quality status, hold flags, and customer requirements.
— Codified shipping approval rules into a single source of truth — fewer hold-leaks, faster sign-off.
mV/day Calculator
Calculate voltage drop rates per day for cell and pack measurements. Spec compliance and trend analysis.
— Replaced a fragile Excel template with a server-validated calculator the whole team trusts.
System QA Wiki
Access and contribute to the system quality assurance documentation. Share best practices and update procedures.
— Centralized scattered tribal knowledge into a searchable, version-controlled internal wiki.
Live Translator
Translate in real-time between English and Korean. Built for fast bilingual communication on the floor.
— Closes the language gap between Korean QA staff and English-speaking partners in real-time.
From web platforms to silicon.
Flinch
Anonymous confession platform with real-time data, full-text search, and privacy-first design.
— Designed moderation and safety primitives that keep an anonymous community respectful.
Memo.dev
Context-aware AI memory assistant with semantic search, memory graphs, and multi-turn GPT-4o chat.
— End-to-end product: vector search, auth, file ingestion, tagging, weekly digests.
Unix-like OS
Unix-like operating system supporting user programs, virtual memory, and syscalls. C + RISC-V + Sv39 paging.
— Implemented multi-level page tables, demand paging, process abstraction, and an ELF loader.
Out-of-Order Processor
RV32IM out-of-order microprocessor in SystemVerilog with split I/D caches, MUL/DIV, and explicit register renaming.
— The project that hooked me on Design Verification — RVFI + Spike co-simulation, lint-clean synthesis, benchmark-driven tuning.
Snake on FPGA
Classic Snake game implemented in SystemVerilog hardware with C game logic running on an FPGA.
— Hardware/software co-design: HDL display + input + collision pipeline with C logic layer.
